I often try to to get those books too. And often times they have a very good story lines and good inked jobs too. In this article I will explores ways of finding gems in these comic books for you. While a lot of collector goes after the more recent comic books, I go after both of them. In this article I will be discussing ways of finding these comic books. So it might be a pretty long articles but most likely if you read it all the way to the end you will be happy you did.
Finding older comic books that are gems is like buying a house. You know what you have in mind. It’s just finding the right gems that are looking for that’s the problem. If you are like me you want to read as many gem comic books as you can. But you might not know where to look for them. This article is going to give you more details on finding places to look for them. I am hoping that this article will help you to obtain your goals of finding those comic books too. Every year there are comic books that gets over look by the collectors of comic books. Most of the times it’s because people are wanting the in demand comic books so they just passed them by.
There are a lot of factors that focused into the math of why certain comic books gets left behind to collect dust. To many to go into details really so I won’t go into the details of why they get left behind as I want to discuss ways of finding the gems of these comic books. Below I will talk about places you can go to find those gems too. And some of the places might surprised you too. I am looking into getting a affiliate program started with amazon to sell their products on my articles too. And they have a huge collection of comic books too. And some good deals on comic books, and I’m going to see if I can get some affiliate programs with some comic books company too. 1. Yard sales: Yard sales most of the times if they have a son or daughter will most likely be selling comic books. Rather they are in good condition or not is the problem. Kids have a habit of destroying comic books because they have no idea of the gold they might be holding in their hands. But if you just looking for the gems with no intentions of selling them. This can be one place you might want to look for them. And a plus you might be able to talked them down on the price as well too. But if you are looking to resell them you will want to make sure they are in bags and in good condition too.
2. flea markets: Flea markets are a great place to find comic books and lots of them too. It’s not uncommon to find multiple comic books seller there, I used to loved going to the flea market as a kid with my dad because I knew I would find many comic books dealer there. I would hit them all too. And most of the dealers knew me too and I got loyal buyer discount on their comic books too. And chance they are comic books collector they are going to be in great condition too. And every so often If you find a whole box of comic books you might be able to name a price on the box or bin of comic books too. And if the price is right you could very well walked off with the whole box or bin.
3. discount stores: Discount stores a great place to look for comic books because if they have book section chances are there will be comic books there as well. And most of the times each package will have two to three comic books in them. So some discount stores could have a good selection of comic books gems in them. The down side Is some of them my be reprints although. But then again if you are only wanting to read them then it won’t make a difference to you.
Those are the places that I look for gems comic books. I enjoyed the thrill of what I might find in comic books gems.
