I love tis show, kind of like where Smallville would be if they brought Smallville back on, but only way better. This show picks up with Clark Kent being married to Lois Lane. They have twin boys with one of them having superpowers like his dad. The show pretty much revolved around superman being a dad and they are back on his farm after his mom dies . Superman pretty much doing what he has always done saving the world while coping with his married life and trying to raise two boys.. To me this is the next part of Smallville where it would be if Smallville never ended. You have Clark Kent all grown up and married and raising two kids with his wife Lois lane, it doesn’t get any better then this.
My only gripe is the Morgan Edge storyline of him being related to superman, I mean what were they thinking when they came up with that storyline. This is really the only part of the show that I don’t like at all. To me there were plenty of other storylines that they could have used with Morgan Edge. But now they have to use the storyline of him being related to superman they are stuck with it. Overall the tv show is a solid winner in my book. I am looking forward to seeing how this show plays out and hoping that Supergirl will be able to make an appearance on the show every so often too. There is one other thing that I don’t like about the show too: they make their own superman and girl team. I mean leave well enough alone and stick with a believable storyline..
